WHERE DO YOU WANT TO GO NEXT?

I have recently been wanting to explore my writing further - specifically writing my own comic book and illustrating it. I feel like the two work beautifully together, and would like my work to start having a little story behind them.

DO YOU HAVE A GIRL GANG? WHY DO YOU LOVE THEM?

Yes - I am a part of a female collective of street artists called 'StayFly Sydney'. I met them a few years ago, and have worked with them in exhibitions and live painting opportunities since. These girls carve out spaces of themselves and represent a whole range of skills, backgrounds and practices. I have never felt more comfortable or more welcome in a group since.

DO YOU HAVE ANY LITTLE SECRETS TO FOLLOWING YOUR PASSION?

Not giving up. As cheesy as it sounds, your passion is dynamic, something that is perpetually growing. Because of this, you'll naturally come across down times and lulls - don't sweat, just grit your teeth and keep going.

Naomi's art will feature at the Electric Lady Stage at Mountain Sounds Festival, grab your tickets here. Follow Naomi on Instagram here and get to know more about StayFly Sydney here
